Sherman T. Buford is a seasoned security executive and visionary leader with over 15 years of experience in law enforcement, corrections, and private security. As President and Director of Buford Security Agency, he oversees uniformed guard services, investigations, and a certified training academy, providing strategic direction and operational excellence across Alabama.
Mr. Buford holds a Master’s in Organizational Management and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Ashford University. A former Police Lieutenant at Tuskegee University, he has led high-level security operations for dignitaries and celebrities, and developed innovative safety protocols that have strengthened protection at institutions and private facilities alike.
Known for his decisive leadership and unwavering commitment to public safety, Mr. Buford has trained hundreds of officers, pioneered mobile enforcement tools, and built a respected agency rooted in professionalism, accountability, and service. His mission is clear: lead with integrity, serve with excellence, and protect with purpose.
Brianna Miller
Director of Buford Security Agency
Brianna Miller currently serves as the Director of Buford Security Agency, bringing over a decade of comprehensive experience in the criminal justice field, including more than 6 years of leadership and management in private security. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University.
Over the past 10 years, Brianna has built a diverse and well-rounded background in criminal justice, working across various areas including investigations, public safety, and private security. She has completed specialized training in active shooter response, cybersecurity, and criminal investigations. Her expertise includes staffing solutions, optimizing operational efficiency, and establishing high standards of business service and safety.
Brianna has led security operations for numerous high-level clients and private events, consistently delivering results with professionalism and integrity. Her exceptional organizational and communication skills have improved operational effectiveness and team performance across multiple facilities.
