Firearm Instructor

Billy Stewart begun law enforcement career in 1999. Before that I served 3 years active duty in the US Navy and 5 years in the navel reserve. I went to the academy in 2001 in Montgomery,  AL. I was affiliated with the Tuskegee Police Department at the time. I wet to FBI Firearms Instructor School in September of 2003 where I graduated 2nd in the class. I worked for Tuskegee for 3 years and then went to The Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Office.  I was there for 16 months before I made supervisor.  I stayed with them for 4 years. I then went to Tallassee Police Department where I made Sargent in 1 year. I worked for Tallassee for 2 years where I was the team leader for the S.W.A.T team. I then went to Dadeville Police Department where I am currently a shift supervisor, training office, FTO, and firearms instructor.  I also teach active shooter classes.
